The Police Ombudsman's Office has issued an appeal for information to an incident which occurred on the A1 outside Newry earlier this month.
They would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed a vehicle being stopped by police on the dual carriageway near the Sheepsbridge Inn, Newry at around 4.50pm on Saturday 7th May 2011. A number of cars were believed to have been involved in the incident, which involved the car and four passengers being stopped and searched for a period of time.
