The Police Ombudsman’s Office has appealed for witnesses to an incident involving two police officers and a member of the public at Belfast’s Mater Hospital on Tuesday 26 March this year.
It happened between 8pm and midnight in the hospital’s main waiting area as the officers brought a man to the hospital for treatment.
A spokesman said: “We believe some people may have recorded video footage of the incident on their mobile phones, and would be particularly keen to hear from them or anyone else who saw what happened.
“If you believe you can help, our witness appeal line is 0800 032 7880.”
