Published Date: 17 April 2003

The Police Ombudsman's Office is investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a 17-year-old male youth in Lisburn last night.

The 17 year old fell while on a building site on the Hillsborough Road, opposite the Lagan Valley Hospital at around seven thirty, and was transferred to the hospital where he later died.

His name has not been released yet.

A team of Police Ombudsman investigators have visited the scene and are in liaison with the family.

The Office has appealed for anyone who was in the area between seven o'clock and eight o'clock last night to contact them on Belfast 828627 or Belfast 828700.
