Profile of Complainants

To ensure it is serving all sections of the community, the Police Ombudsman's Office is required to monitor the types of people who access its services. In order to do this, the Office conducts a regular equality monitoring survey which provides information about the range of people who make complaints.

The findings from the most recent survey covering the time period April 2015 to March 2016 is available here.

The next report will be published in June 2017.
